Up at 4.00am for our flight out of Nebraska, on our arrival in Boston, one of America’s oldest and most beautiful cities, we headed straight to the beloved Fenway Park - the home of the Boston Red Sox. Fenway Park is the oldest ballpark in the country and is considered to be one of the best-known sports venues in the world. Our guide, Ed, transfixed the boys with stories about the history of Red Sox Baseball and American sporting culture.
We then checked into our hotel which is positioned in the centre of the most exclusive area of Boston. The shopping experience for the boys turned out to be a little above their budgets. After a team dinner at a local steak-house we settled in for an early night, ready for a big day tomorrow.
